Veterinary Receptionist

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly reliable and organized Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the primary point of contact for our clinic. This position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while coordinating appointment scheduling for multiple veterinarians, including surgery and clinic days, managing veterinary technician appointment schedules, and supporting rescue group scheduling needs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet clients professionally and provide excellent customer service in person and by phone
· Schedule and coordinate appointments for multiple veterinarians, technicians, and rescue partners
· Manage a high volume of calls, emails, and in-person inquiries simultaneously
· Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in the clinic management system
· Handle end-of-day reconciliation and prepare daily deposits
· Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
· Assist with general administrative and organizational duties to support clinic operations
· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills, including scheduling systems and basic office software
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous veterinary clinic reception experience highly preferred
Schedule (Non-Negotiable):
· Monday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
· Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
· Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
· Thursday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Wage & Benefits
$18.00 -$19.50 /hour DOE
